Arisaema triphyllum - Jack in the Pulpit

This listing is for 10 seeds of this woodland plant from North America.

Arisaema triphyllum known locally as jack-in-the-pulpit, bog onion, brown dragon, Indian turnip, American wake robin, or wild turnip is a herbaceous perennial plant growing from a corm. It is a highly variable species typically growing 30–65 cm in height with three-parted leaves and flowers contained in a spadix that is covered by a hood. It is native to eastern North America, occurring in moist woodlands and thickets from Nova Scotia west to Minnesota, and south to southern Florida and Texas.

It will flower in around 3 years from seed and the corms will get bigger each year producing larger plants. Eventually the corm may 'shatter' and the resulting parts will grow into new plants, enabling the plant to spread gievn time. The flowers are typical in shape for those of the arum family.

It is easy to grow and cultivate. Hardy down to Zone 5. Easy to germinate following the instructions located at this link.
