Pack of 15 seeds of this pretty perennial climber.

A native of Southern Africa, this is a perennial plant that has found its way into our gardens as an annual, like so many others from that region. Despite this, it is a perennial, it will grow more strongly and spectacularly each year, it is just its ease of cultivation from seed (and the difficulty faced when trying to strike cuttings) that continue to keep this clumped in with the annuals. Indeed in time the stems can reach 10 metres in length or more.It is a slender climbing plant, with heart shaped leaves. It climbs by twining its stems around whatever is in the way, so provide it with a frame or canes to see it at its best. It can be grown to good effect up a pyramid structure, with a plant or two at each corner. However you grow it, it is a welcome addition to any garden. The flowers are golden yellow trumpets with a dark and contrasting eye (hence common name). They are produced in profusion even on young plants throughout the whole summer. Grow it in the conservatory or greenhouse and it may still be in bloom at Christmas!

From seed to flowers in around 12 weeks, this is an easy to grow plant whichever way you look at it and remember its a perennial, so no need to throw it away at the end of the season, just find a frost free home for it and enjoy it again next year!
