Graptopetalum bellum

This listing is for a pack of 25 seeds of this beautiful succulent plant.
Only discovered less than 40 years ago, this was originally descriped as Tacitus bellus.  A relative of Echeveria, this too comes from Mexico, but is found in more isolataed and sheltered locations.

It forms clusters of  dark green (almost grey from a distance) tightly leaved rosettes often tinged with bronze.  Flowers appear in late Spring/early Summer, only after the plant has had a cool dry rest.  The flowers are well worth the wait as they are a striking and glowing cerise/magenta in colour.

Propogation can be performed by leaf cuttings, the seperation of rosettes or by seed.  From seed the plant is quick and easy.
