Rhipsalis Mixed Species

This listing is for a pack of 25 seeds. Rhipsalis or the Mistletoe Cactus are a group of epiphytic cactus native to central America.  There is also an isolated population in South Africa, the only known natural occurence of any species of cactus outside of the Americas (although it is now thought that they were 'deposited' there by migrating birds).  They are 'jungle' cactus, and the stems are rounded rather than flattened as in their near relatives.  The flowers are small and either white, cream or pale yellow.  They are followed by white berries, reminiscent of that seen on common mistletoe.  Couple this with the fact that they are epiphytes, growing in the forks of tree branches etc and it is easy to see where the common name came from.
