Packet of 25+ seeds.

This is a native of New South Wales and grows naturally in exposed conditions. Known as Tea Trees as the leaves were dried and then used to make an infusion which was a substitute for Tea - this is not the plant from which Tea Tree oil is distilled - that is Melaleuca alternifolia (which I also sell).

Flowering late in the year and continuing through most of the winter, it is decorative when little else is in flower. The flowers are pink and 2 cm across and are reminiscent of Cherry/Peach blossom. Hardy to Zone 8 and tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions. It will withstand heavy frost.
