SOLIDAGO PTARMICOIDES - WHITE UPLAND ASTER THIS IS A LISTING FOR A PACK OF 300+ SEEDS. Solidago ptarmicoides isa native of the upland prairie areas of the Eastern USA and Canada. A plant of confused origins, it was originally thought to be an Aster, hence the common name, but has recently been classified as a member ofthe goldenrods, due to genetic analysis and its readiness to hybridisewith other goldenrods.Growing some 60 - 70 cm tall from an underground rootstock, the plantmay produce as many as 20 stems when established. The daisy likeflowers are borne in clusters at the tops of the stems from July -September. These look very like the flowers of an aster, rather thanthose of the more typical goldenrods.Hardy in zones 3 - 9, this prefers a dry location in full sun.Full instructions can be downloaded from my website, details of whichare on my 'Me' page
