Packet of 25+ seeds.

This is a native of the uplands of Tasmania. Growing at such a southerly latitude and at altitude makes this a very hardy shrub and an attractive addition to any garden. Another of its common names is Mountain Tea Tree, again alluding to the fact that this is an alpine species

It flowers in Spring and can cover itself in white blossom. Low growing, it can be used in alpine style plantings and in rock gardens. It is also effective in the front of a shrub border, especially if planted in groups. Hardy to Zone 7 (perhaps even lower) and tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions. It will withstand heavy frost. This is an easy and quick plant from seed, flowering in it's second spring.
