Weingartia Mixed Species
This listing is for a pack of 25 seeds.A complex South American group of cactus, which is closely related to the Gymnocalycium (Chin Cactus) and the Rebutias (Crown Cactus). It now finds itself 'lumped' in with the Rebutias, although the species remain distinctive enough for many not to accept that grouping. The species here all belong to the group that formed the historic Weingartia genus and as such included around 60 or so species/sub species.
All are vigorous bloomers and have larger blooms than that of Rebutia. Flower colour can be pink, salmon, orange, yellow or lilac (although yellow predominates). The flowers can appear at any point on the body of the plant, although the largest number form near to top of the plant.
Flowering while still quite young, these are easy to grow globular cactus that should find a home in any collection.
